Feed Mill Manager
Major employer in the San Joaquin Valley seeks an experienced Feed Mill Manager with several years of experience leading a crew of feed mill employees to work in one their company's larger facilities.

Manage the Fertilizer Plant to insure the following:
Safe, efficient, and economical transloading/storage and production of fertilizer.
Compliance with Department, Division, and Corporate policies and procedures.
Compliance with company and government health and safety regulations.
Manage daily production schedule & plant maintenance program including PMs and work schedules.
Plan, request, and implement Capital Projects as needed for current and long-term demands.
Manage facility food safety and HACCP plan.
Ensure all products are produced within parameters of the HACCP program.
Verify daily production and shipment records to ensure that CCPs are complied with and properly documented.
Ensure all plant employees are trained on plant HACCP plan and accompanying SOPs.
Ensure inventory adjustments are made in a timely manner during the period for recall purposes.
Field buyer for facility.
Manage EHS compliance including:
Assist Environmental Manager.
Oversee plant safety meetings and audits.

5 years experience in a production environment.
5 years supervisory experience.
BS/BA is Business Management or related field.
Basic knowledge of bacteriology and chemistry is important.
Good interpersonal and communication skills required.
Knowledge of farming, fertilizer/nutrient management, and fertilizer / feed and grain handling equipment.
Food Safety/HACCP experience.
Organic product and production experience.
Ability to forecast and respond to variables, including:
production fluctuations of the fertilizer plant and sales demand.
Ability to respond and thrive in a frequently changing and fast paced work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
SAP experience helpful.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
