Maintenance Mechanic - Days
Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 Per Hour

Summary:
We are PARTNERING with our growing Food Processing client who is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic with Food Processing experience for this IMMEDIATE Direct Hire opportunity.
HOURS: 7:am - 3:30/4:pm, M-F, Must be able to work weekends/overtime during Season
Salary: $18-25/hr - DOE
SUMMARY
Perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, etc.
Perform skilled maintenance work relating primarily to production equipment, including electrical, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatic, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties include providing safe and timely mechanical and electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment.
Responsible for supporting all automated manufacturing equipment.
Set-up, change over, and make required adjustments to automated manufacturing machinery.
Preventative maintenance and repairs to machinery.
Support production and maintenance improvement projects, and maintain spare parts inventory for all equipment.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Must have previous maintenance experience in Food Processing.
Forklift driving skills is a plus.
Experience with Fabrication/Welding and Electrical and an operational knowledge of industrial machinery which includes; motors, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systems.
Ability to work various shifts & overtime.
Knowledge of the equipment, tools, and materials used in general equipment and building maintenance.
Ability to keep simple records of activities performed
Requirements:
MUST have experience as a Maintenance Mechanic as described above in the Food Processing Industry.
